Ari El is all around artist you might catch him recording vocals, working on a remix, producing or rocking the dance floor with his unique Techno Minimal Tech house sound. Ari El is known to get you hooked from the first few minutes of listening to the sound of his hypnotic dirty driven beats . He grew up in New York but is currently residing in the city of Atlanta and has been holding down a residency @ Odyssey ATL . Ari El is one of those artists that is known to take you on a mind journey and make you move nonstop all at the same time . He had also had the pleasure to share the booth with artist such as Danny Tenaglia, Chus & Ceballos, John Gaiser, Paco Osuna, Reset Robot, Satoshi Tomie, Mind Control, Butane, Dela ,Matt Klast and many other great talents. In 2012 he teamed with a talented DJ producer by the name of George Lukin and together they started working on some new original production.
They got their first break with their Soulkilla EP that got signed to Basswalk Records based out of Argentina the record was remixed by Butane and DJFronter and was charted and played by Leon @ Amnesia Ibiza Closing Party also supported and played by many respected artists in the game. Hailing from Atlanta, Deep & Tech House DJ Merrick has tons of Milestones already behind him. A favorite of Liquified Entertainment, he has played at TomorrowWorld Music Festival, Counter Point Music Festival, Magnetic Music Festival, White Noize Festival, Sweetwater 420 Fest, and multiple Kingdom Raves in Atlanta. Creator & Host of The Deep End event off Edgewood Ave., he is constantly pushing the boundaries for the underground movement. Merrick has played among Atlanta's best holding residencies at The Sound Table, Prive, Iris Rush Lounge, the Artmore Hotel, Edgewood Speakeasy, Skyy Lounge, Music Room, Havana Nightclub, Opera Nightclub, Terminal West & many others. Focusing on spreading the word of true house music, driven techno basslines, and soulful deep house funk grooves, and illuminating the dancefloor.
